Our Class Treaty

In Ruma Toru, we are focussing on being kind to our classmates, and to people in our school. We are also looking at the concept of Awhi, which means to help and support others. We made a class treaty based on these concepts. How do you show Awhi and Kindness in your whanau?

Day 2 Basketball

Miles came to teach us some more basketball skills. He showed us how to bounce the basketball. We could only use one hand at a time. We needed to practise swapping hands while still bouncing the basketball. We bounced the ball to a buddy. Bouncing the ball in basketball is called dribbling.

We were very lucky with the weather to be able to have our swimming carnival last week. TKW and TKP showed off their swimming skills to their parents and whanau. Thank you for coming to share our special day with us.
